At Patten Monument Company, our humble beginnings date back over one hundred years. Back then, we operated our business out of a one-room shop on Plainfield Avenue in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With only a three-person team, we had little idea what was in store for the future of Patten Monument. All we knew was that we were determined to put our heart and souls into the business. In those early days what we lacked in size and reputation, we made up for with work ethic, personal service and a love for monument manufacturing. It wasn’t long before our craftsmanship and honest values earned us a reputable name among stoneworkers in Grand Rapids and West Michigan. As word of our service continued to spread, Patten Monument continued to grow into the midwest’s top monument dealer. Now fast forward 100 years to today. Patten Monument is the leading cemetery headstone provider in Michigan and Northern Indiana. With nine showrooms and distributors across the Midwest, our team is fully capable of handling your complete monument, headstone and marker needs. And while our team has grown and our processes have been fine-tuned, the core values at the heart of Patten Monument remain the same.
